Community Arts Stabilization Trust (CAST) is a mission-driven, community-centered real estate nonprofit ensuring that artists, culture bearers, and community-rooted organizations have the space to create, connect, and thrive. In a market where rising costs too often push cultural communities out of the neighborhoods they helped define, CAST intervenes by acquiring, developing, and stewarding permanently affordable spaces for arts and culture.

For more than a decade, we’ve paired real estate expertise with deep community partnership to anchor artists in the spaces where they live and create, building lasting infrastructure for creative and civic life. We believe artists and arts organizations should have agency over the spaces they inhabit, and we design our projects with, not for, the people who will use them.
